1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using chennaibuilder.com (the Site), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. These terms are governed by the laws of India and the state of Tamil Nadu.
2. About Chennai Builder Network
Chennai Builder Network is an online platform that connects homeowners and property developers in Chennai with verified construction contractors, renovation specialists, interior designers, and building material suppliers. We are a marketplace and referral platform — we do not directly perform construction work.
3. OWN Membership (₹699/year)
OWN (Our Verified Network) membership costs ₹699 per year, payable via Razorpay. Membership grants access to verified contractor contact details, WhatsApp connect, and priority booking. Payments are non-refundable once processed, except in cases of technical failure verified by us. Membership is personal and non-transferable.
4. Materials Marketplace
Listings on the materials marketplace are posted by third-party sellers. Chennai Builder Network does not verify the quality, accuracy, or availability of listed materials. All transactions between buyers and sellers are conducted independently. Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings. Free listings may be removed after 90 days of inactivity.
5. Contractor Listings
Contractors listed on the Site are independent professionals. We do not guarantee the quality of work performed by listed contractors. Users are advised to verify contractor credentials, obtain written quotations, and exercise due diligence before engaging any contractor. Chennai Builder Network is not liable for disputes between users and contractors.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to post false or fraudulent content, use the Site for any unlawful purpose, attempt to access other users' accounts or data, scrape or reproduce Site content without written permission, or use automated tools to access the Site without our consent.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this Site — including text, images, logos, and software — is the property of Chennai Builder Network or its licensors. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Chennai Builder Network shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or services obtained through it. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
9. Payments & Refunds
All payments are processed by Razorpay and are subject to their terms. OWN membership fees are non-refundable after successful payment verification. In the event of a payment failure where your account was charged but membership was not activated, contact us within 7 days for a resolution.
10. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. We encourage users to contact us first to resolve disputes amicably.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The Last updated date will reflect changes. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
